Loyal Legends dog training is a balanced training business. By using operant conditioning, dogs learn that obeying their owner leads to having more freedom, and a happier life. 

Using a balanced technique uses rewards for good behaviors, and corrections for undesirable behaviors.

Owner and lead dog trainer, Nellie Bird has had lots of experience from newborn puppies to old age dogs. She has work experience from other trainers as well as working on her own for pet owners and dogs near her. From as early as the age of 13 Nellie was volunteering time at the Humane Society of Utah working with the dogs and later fostered twice, one being a litter of young puppies. 

Nellie has 2 years volunteer service with Utah Humane Society and has worked for 3 different dog training businesses. 

Nellie Bird has attended and graduated from Starmark Academy for Professional dog trainers located in Texas. She decided to go there verses other schools because it was more hands on and taught more than was offered at other places, therefore, she is professionally certified to help you with any difficulties you may be having with your dog. While there, she was able to work with different types of dogs and work hand in hand with many other trainers to learn the best technique for the dog. As all dogs are different and need a bit different of an approach, Nellie has exceeded in her ability to determine the best thing to do to help that dog learn. She was successful in not only teaching the dogs she worked with a high level of obedience, but tricks, house manors, nosework, agility, competitive obedience, a bit of dock diving, as well as narcotics detection. 

Nellie Bird and Loyal Legends offer training for both dog and pet owner to ensure the training of the dog stays where it is when they leave training.
